It was an amazing achievement and honour for both my late father “Clem O’Dea” who wrote “My Country My Australia” and myself. The accolade means so much to my family and of course me. Dad worked hard all his life and his saviour was his family and music.

Tamworth Back to the Bush Showcase 2026 was the most amazing experience for me to sing “My Country My Australia” on the Toyota Park stage supported by the amazing Australian country musicians. Another bucket list ticked off.
