ISSA Finalist 2026
To be nominated as an International Singer-Songwriters Association (ISSA) 2026 Awards Finalist is definitely a dream come true. This is my first year with the ISSA group, and it has been a great honour to connect and receive such encouragement from everyone, is simply an amazing feeling.
To be recognised internationally for the work I have dedicated to my music career has provided me the additional encouragement to continue on this amazing path of creativity. Relatively a newbie in songwriting, I crave the passion and determination to gain and explore the craft more extensively. As such, I attend, wherever possible, songwriters’ retreats to expand my ability and knowledge. Still a long way to go, but as they say, “you never stop learning”.
Music has grown up with me, both parents being musicians. Music was always in the house with family gatherings turning into singalong concerts. Now, I have been blessed to reach one of my bucket lists of being a full-time dedicated Australian Independent Singer-Songwriter. My music brings emotion, genuine experience combined with strong vocals to express the emotion and story of the song.
Connecting with the audience brings such a thrill, in particular, when it’s one of my own originals. The thrill to connect and, meet new people alike, sharing their experiences with music and life is just a blessing which cannot be replaced.
Performing all around Western Australia and New South Wales at Musters, Pubs, Clubs and private events. Each provides their own unique positive experience with the added benefit of new friendships for life. My goal is to continue this journey around Australia with a caravan and possibly abroad. Fingers crossed.
